Reggae City

REGGAE CITY BIRMINGHAM (THE RAINBOW WAREHOUSE VENUES) 11TH JUNE 2011, 4pm-4am This an exciting new event for Birmingham and the West Midlands. Reggae has always been a big part of the area’s rich and diverse cultural melting pot. The explosion of reggae and ska in the region (and across the UK) during the early seventies followed legendary gigs of the time such as Bob Marley at the ODEON. Today there continues to be a vibrant roots and reggae across the region and Reggae City is an opportunity to pull together the best of the region and splice it together with some of the best national and international talent. It is hoped the event will develop and grow through the support of the city and it’s … Continue reading →
