What a treat it is to welcome one of the most important UK hip hop producers and one of the UK’s finest MCs to kick up a proper party at the Hare and Hounds alongside Birmingham’s finest Funk and Soul bands….
Skitz is without doubt one of the most important and influential UK Hip Hop producers of the past 15 years. His first album from back in 2001, “Countryman,” set a new benchmark for Uk Hip Hop and the scene has never looked back.
Earlier this year Skitz dropped his long awaited second album, “Sticksman.” Incorporating a wide range of influences including roots and dubstep and a wide array of guests, “Sticksman” delivers a fresh direction for UK hip hop and demonstrates that the scene is as strong as it has ever been.
It has been quite a while since Skitz and his long time compadre, the legendary rhymer Rodney P, have visited Birmingham, so do not miss out on this opportunity to catch this pair of Hip Hop maestros ripping up one of the phattest Soundsystems of the city.
